Our Primary Offerings
The certification program draws on the educational frameworks of The Menopause Society, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, WorldLink Medical, and the Hormonal Health Institute, progressing through hormone physiology, laboratory interpretation, prescribing strategies, and risk management before culminating in a hands-on prescribing workshop and final competency assessment.

Our Curriculum
The DrDawson Academy Advanced BHRT Certification Program is a 14-day intensive curriculum that takes licensed healthcare professionals from the foundational science of hormone physiology through to independent, safe clinical prescribing. Developed entirely from Dr. Corrine Dawson's 20+ years of active hormone-focused practice, the program awards certification on demonstrated clinical competency, not attendance.
Foundations of BHRT & Clinical Assessment
Week 1 establishes the clinical and scientific foundation for safe hormone practice, moving from the history and physiology of hormonal medicine through female endocrinology, menopause staging, and comprehensive patient intake, to full laboratory ordering and interpretation. By the end of the week, participants are equipped to perform thorough patient assessments, order and functionally interpret advanced hormone panels, and identify the patterns of deficiency and imbalance that inform every prescribing decision that follows.
Hormone Prescribing & Clinical Implementation
Week 2 moves from assessment to active prescribing, delivering structured clinical instruction across progesterone, estradiol, and testosterone therapy for women, followed by dedicated training in adrenal restoration and thyroid optimization. Each module addresses delivery methods, dosing strategies, contraindications, and monitoring protocols, giving participants a complete prescribing framework for the hormonal conditions most commonly presenting in midlife women.
Advanced Clinical Application & Hands-On Training
Week 3 translates clinical knowledge into supervised practice, covering the management of common menopause-related conditions, a comprehensive framework for contraindications and risk documentation, and a hands-on prescribing workshop involving live case exercises and compounding pharmacy communication. The module culminates in a final clinical practicum in which participants complete a comprehensive case presentation, laboratory interpretation exam, and treatment protocol development, with certification awarded on demonstrated competency.
Bonus Module: Optional Advanced Training
The Bonus Module offers optional advanced training across six specialist areas: peptide therapy integration, testosterone optimization for men, longevity and anti-aging medicine, cardiometabolic optimization, functional medicine integration, and practice-building for hormone medicine clinics.
